Your holiday dinner arrives frozen and ready to be stored until the big day. Simply follow the storage instructions included with your meal. Most frozen items should be moved to the refrigerator to thaw 24–72 hours before cooking, while dry ingredients can be kept in a cool, dry, safe place until you’re ready to use them.

Every meal you receive is vacuum-sealed and frozen with care before being shipped to your door. After opening your package, we recommend transferring the meals from the insulated cooler bag to your freezer right away. When stored properly, the meals will stay safe for at least six months.

You will also notice that each meal is frozen flat, making them easy to stack and store without taking up too much space in your freezer.

Each holiday box is prepared in our commercial kitchen, frozen, and packed with dry ice inside insulated packaging for its journey to your doorstep. When your order arrives, most frozen items should be frozen or cold to the touch.

For best quality and safety, transfer frozen items to your freezer as soon as possible and follow the storage instructions included with your holiday box. Some sauces or ingredients may feel soft or partially thawed when they arrive. This is normal for ingredients like honey, barbecue sauce, or soy sauce, which don’t freeze as solidly as other items.
